IEG Acquires Olympic Wire and Equipment

The addition of Olympic Wire and Equipment provides IEG with a West Coast Service presence while expanding IEG’s addressable market with Baling equipment, wire and parts.

ELGIN, IL, November 15th, 2024 –Impact Environmental Group (IEG) has acquired Olympic Wire and Equipment. Based in Costa Mesa, California, Olympic Wire and Equipment is a premier provider of baling equipment, baling wire, parts and service. Founded by Jim Walker in 1995, Olympic has established itself as a trusted partner and supplier to the Waste and Recycling Industry. Jim will continue to lead Olympic as part of IEG to help drive the continued growth of the business.

With locations in Southern and Northern California, Olympic Wire and Equipment provides IEG with a strategically located Service hub for one of the nation’s largest markets. Olympic is IEG’s fourth acquisition in the waste equipment service sector following UCS Equipment (2021), WOR, Inc. and FleetGenius Compactor Solutions (2024). These acquisitions, in addition to organic growth initiatives have positioned IEG as the leading nationwide provider of Compactor and Baler Service with highly trained technicians spanning the country, in addition to a robust installation and refurbishment teams housed in facilities across the U.S.

IEG Acquires FleetGenius’ Compactor Solutions business

The addition of Compactor Solutions positions IEG as the leading national provider of compactor and baler service

ELGIN, IL, November 1st, 2024 –Impact Environmental Group (IEG) has acquired the Compactor Solutions division of FleetGenius, LLC. This business provides nationwide Compactor and Baler service to waste equipment manufacturers, waste haulers, compactor rental companies, retail chains, multifamily residential and multi-site commercial facilities. Compactor Solutions will be rolled up into the existing IEG Service business complementing an already thriving service organization.

The addition of FleetGenius’ Compactor Solutions division gives IEG unprecedented national coverage to provide customers with Site Surveys, Installations, Preventative Maintenance, Emergency Repair and Refurbishment.   Included in the acquisition are five repair and refurbishment locations in Arizona, Illinois, Texas, Washington and Wisconsin.

IEG Adds Ty Rhoad to Serve As Chief Revenue Officer

Ty Rhoad will provide unified Sales leadership across IEG’s solid waste, environmental waste, IEG service and waste infrastructure divisions.

ELGIN, IL, October 21st, 2024 – Impact Environmental Group (IEG) has announced the addition of Ty Rhoad as its new Chief Revenue Officer. As a key member of the executive team, Rhoad will oversee sales leadership and revenue strategy for IEG’s North American divisions, which include solid waste, environmental waste, service, and waste infrastructure (chutes) sectors.

With a wealth of experience in the Waste Industry, Rhoad most recently served as Vice President, Americas for TOMRA Recycling, the premier manufacturer of advanced waste and metal sorting equipment. Rhoad began his career in Waste with Rehrig Pacific where over a span of 9 years, he progressed from Regional Sales Representative to Director of Sales for Rehrig’s environmental division. Rhoad has an impressive track record of building high performing sales teams and driving organic growth.
